Z. Bogatko. The poetry is simple but deep. I am particularly impressed by the meditative and mindfulness aspects of the poetry. It motivates the reader to slow down and appreciate his/her surroundings. I attempt (usually unsuccessfully) to limit my reading to only one poem per day. Each is masterpiece, and the depth and beauty of the poems increase with each reading. I doubt anyone could ever forget Womb after reading it. It is pure genius. And there is a calming spirit throughout the book, despite the poetry addressing at times some difficult topics. It is the best single book of poetry I have ever read. William Carlos Williams has been dethroned.
