1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A Sheer Delight!!! By Golden Oldie This slim sheaf of poems is a sheer delight. Like Tigger, these poems are bouncy, flouncy, trouncy. Her work often has an almost Seussian beat to it, light and whimsical, like a wisp of smoke on a gentle autumn day. The author still retains a childlike awe and reverence for life. She takes the average, ordinary things in life, the things we take for granted---a twirly dress, time alone at home, her cat---and transforms them into something mystical, magical, and memorable. And just like life, there are a few moments here that are sad and tragic, and evoke a sense of loss and longing. But they always end with hope and a resounding affirmation of love. By all means, buy this book!

I knew it'd help her By Amazon Customer I read this short book of poems from cover to cover in one sitting! The poems are so authenticate; relate to everyday life so well. I cried and laughed, each poem evoking an emotion from things we all go through. I immediately sent one poem off to a friend who is dealing with losing a loved one. I knew it'd help her. This little gem with be my Christmas present to many of my family and friends this year.
