From the Author 'Breathing from Within' is about my life after being homeless for two years. During the time of the writing of this book I became homeless again. I am now thankfully beyond that. These poems designate a vibrancy that I could only imagine when I first began writing it in 2011. The book, as well as myself, went through many transformations, and all for the better. This book is uplifting at best, but I don't negate the negative. Life is both positive and negative and we need both to survive. This book came out far better, and different, then I first imagined, and I am very happy with the end results. Breathing from Within will keep you breathing and looking within for the answers you seek. Namaste.
About the Author James has been writing poetry since the early seventies. This is his fifth published book of poetry. James is also the author of The Blackstone novels of which two are currently published. James lives in Northern Virginia USA and considers himself a student of life.
