About the Author
G. Raye Jones was born in a tenant house in Rawlings, Virginia, and worked in tobacco fields until he left for college. Raye earned a BA and JD from University of Virginia and a Master of Laws degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law. He is the pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Charlottesville, Virginia.

He gave me a wonderful, caring, and loving dad. He is such an inspiration to me. His book is an inspiration. It has helped me become a stronger person because of it. It has helped me when I started doubting my faith. It has helped me cope with losing loved ones. It has strengthened me in every way. I am proud of all my dad has done and is doing. He is one in a million and in his newest collection, "One for the Heart," he hits on each of those feelings. He touches the heart with the loving feel of family, faith, hope, and joy. He is a wonderful pastor and everything a dad can and ever will be!

I really loved it because it gives you an insight into the thoughts and prayers and hopes that a Christian man has for his family. The poems are so meaningful and positive. You see the love of a man, his family, and his church. You see the hopes and dreams and the trials he goes through and how he handles them. This is universal for Christian men, no matter what profession they are in, and this shows that everyone goes through the same situations that he did. I am so glad that I bought this book.

Great Read for All By Peter Chege A must to be read great Poems of faith and victory.The value of true friendship and the value of not quitting on your self on God and on others is brought out in this works of Grace and faith. Good read for all ages young and old. I highly recommend the book for families, Pastors and Youngsters as well.
