Kelley did an amazing job at putting on paper the complexities of her mind and her daily challenges, in a tender and hopeful way. She teaches us about mania, depression, medications, addictions and all the other things associated with being bipolar, simply and transparently. 2007 was a horrible year, followed by even more difficult years, but she truly has grown and blossomed into a very wise and loving person.

I found this book to be very informative as it included a comprehensive look at mental illness including the financial devastation that can follow. If you know someone with mental illness, this book may help you understand what they are going through. Congrats to the author for being brave enough to put her story in writing.
