About the Author Florence Frazier has a B.A., MSW, and LCSWR, and has been in the filed of social work for over forty-five years and has been a community activist for sixty-five years. “I wrote this book because I felt myself slipping into anger and depression after my rehabilitation from a fall. I couldn’t travel, I couldn’t do what I was used to doing. I joined the memoirs group at my church. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. An inspirational woman tells her story By doodeeann I bought this book to learn about my Frazier families. While Florence married into the Frazier family, she has a lot of personal knowledge and insight on them having grown up alongside this family. I wish she would have included more details of her youthful years and interaction with her contemporaries. Her memoir tells of her struggles and losses but more of her achievements and desire to keep going and reach higher and higher for her own satisfaction and good example for her child and others who would follow her example. I am proud to have gotten to know Florence in the past couple / few years. Her memories are precious and she is always positive even when faced with negatives in her life. Her accomplishments and determination are inspirational for other woman.On a side-note, I feel the publisher should have done a better job at proofreading the script before publishing so that her "typos" would not be seen.
