1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. that didn't stop me from enjoying this wonderful collection of poems By Derek Ellis I am not all too familiar with The Simpsons; however, that didn't stop me from enjoying this wonderful collection of poems. Hunley is able to switch his voice within this collection to suit many characters; however, having read much of his previous work, that same familiar tone of his is underlying through out the book: it's one of humbleness and raw honesty. I recommend this book to fans of poetry and those who have yet to explore it, or explore the poetry of Tom C. Hunley. A wonderful poet and a wonderful book, I can't praise it enough. You'll read it, then re-read it.

So much insight, humor, and emotion, while being a loving dedication to the American family. This is intelligent poetry that doesn't talk down to its audience, but instead lifts them up to another level of understanding. At the same time, it evokes such universal truths, it is a book even non-poetry fans should enjoy. You should read it.
