About the Author Judy Kenefick lives in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia with her husband Kevin, in happy retirement. They have been friends of the Loneragan family for over 40 years. This is the first book Judy has written and it was written from the heart because of a desire to share Megan’s story with others in order to inspire those caught in the nightmare of an Acquired Brain Injury. Judy’s professional life was in administration and she has a Degree in Administrative Leadership from The University of New England.

It will hold you in its hand and squeeze your heart at times, but it will also inspire you. Judy Kenefick, the author, skilfully brings Megan’s story to us through the memories of family members and her own experiences as a close family friend. She tells the story with compassion and even some humour. At times it is raw and so very sad. You will anguish with Megan’s mother Anne as she refuses to give up on her beloved daughter. This is a “can’t put down book” - and I thoroughly recommend it.Margaret Nicol
