About the Author
Sharon Capra wrote this book after suffering the loss of her son. She desperately wanted direction in her grief and recorded what she found on her journey of trusting God during her hardest time. She is the mother of twelve children and twenty grandchildren and lives with her husband and family in Virginia.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Hope and encouragement By robert This is a wonderful tool for those who grieve. Sharon has written from her heart, which I am sure was painful to do. After drawing the reader in with the story of the loss of her son and her own personal journey of grief, she equips the reader with scripture and biblical truth to cling to in times of despair and to give hope when there seems to be none. Having suffered from depression, some brought on through the death of my mother, I found her story both encouraging and helpful. I know from experience those who grieve may not have the energy to read an entire book, although I found it was easy to read, I recommend if you can only read a little to read Chapter 5: Old Testament Wisdom for Those Who Grieve.

You can tell this is written from experience and from the heart! Sharon Capra is a gifted writer who draws you in and shares in a way that captivates your interest and your heart. She also includes how this tremendous loss affected different family members and how God uses it to touch their lives. You will be blessed and encouraged as you read it.
