Each time the Gunny comes to our Reunion he brings with him the True Spirit of our Corps .This Marine is one of the few WW11,Korea and Viet Nam Marines that is still able and very activein Marine activites in his daily care of so many Vets of all branches of the Military as he visitsthem daily in Homes,Hospitals and even sport events. Those that came to know him look forward to his call or visitand wisdom.This Book "The Gunny" is a family type History that Women & Children would enjoy for sure. The "Gunny" is a fascinating man with so many stories and a not so easy life. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys the marines, or history buffs that enjoy a first person perspective. Loved it!
